Marcia
Some of the most relevant modernist seating designs were created in the 1950s & 60s. Marcia midcentury modern iconic sofa is achieved by using 2 wider plump smooth surface seat cushions without tufting. A continuous horizontal bottom seat rail curves at each end rolling upward and outward into vertical flaring arms framing the sofa with continuity. The base of Marcia is the most telling detail of the design. Whether placed in the center of the room or with its back to the wall, the solid gently curved polished wood undercarriage adds the element of handcrafted artisan design. The degree of leg flair angle was carefully measured staying authentic to this original 1950s design feature.
Natural materials used for the construction of our furnishings will have variations in areas such as (but not limited to) colour, pattern, grain, and texture. Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, the colour of products may appear different on different screens.
