Takumi meaning Artisan or Craftsmanship in Japanese. The lamp design to embodies the essence of Japanese free-form aesthetics. The irregular, blocky shapes in the design resonate with the idea of skilled handcrafting and precision. Just as artisans skilfully balance form and function, the stacked, asymmetrical shapes create a harmonious yet dynamic flow, symbolizing craftsmanship in every aspect. The juxtaposition of natural materials like wood adds to the tactile and visual depth, reinforcing the artisan's touch in its creation, finding perfection in imperfection.
